Dear Members of SMART-NERC,

As we welcome 2025, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on the incredible progress we’ve made together — and to look forward to the opportunities ahead.

This year, SMART-NERC has demonstrated what solidarity and hard work can achieve. We’ve won back hundreds of thousands of work hours for our members, transforming non-union jobs into good union jobs. These efforts mean safer worksites, stronger communities, and more projects completed by our members.

Our top priorities remain to keep our members working and to expand market share, not just for today but for future generations. Your hard work, skill, and dedication ensure that SMART-NERC is a leader in quality and excellence across all worksites.

Our members have been volunteering at events in our communities, and are proud to support folks in need throughout the year. We encourage our members to continue supporting our communities at every opportunity.

We’ve expanded outreach to vocational training centers, and have boosted awareness for apprenticeship opportunities to ensure every high school graduate has a pathway to success.

Let’s carry this momentum into 2025. There’s no limit to what we can achieve with unity and determination.
