We watched the recent fires in Los Angeles with shock and horror. The fires have unleashed an unprecedented disaster affecting the people of Los Angeles — including many of our brothers and sisters, whose lives were uprooted and, in some cases, have seen their homes destroyed.

We want to ensure assistance is available as soon as possible to all impacted members within the sheet metal and transportation industries. Each day, we are learning more about members and families impacted by this disaster.

We have been in contact with local unions in the affected areas who are reporting back on items that are urgently needed. At this moment, these items include:

• Nonperishable Food
• Gift Cards – Food, Gas, Lodging
• Backpacks/Totes
• Reusable Water Bottles
